If you have never floated the Big Piney and the Gasconade you have to try it. Put in on the Big Piney and float till it goes into the Gasconade and float till it goes down to the bridge at the mouth of the Little Piney at Rich's Last Resort to take out. It is a beautiful float. Lots of small mouth and goggle-eye. One morning I filled up a stringer with goggle-eye by fishing the weed beds. Water was clear as anywhere in the state. It must have been in may a lot of years ago though. Did it in a flat bottom back then. Big Piney is a great river to float. Real Pretty water. Never went up very far though. Just 4 or 5 miles up the Piney from the mouth. Can't say what it is like farther up than that.  Rich's will shuttle if still in buesness and I think they still are. Check with them first.
