Matt,

Here is the best manufacturer of waterproof bags, bar none. http://www.cascadedesigns.com/sealline/packs-and-duffles/zip-duffle/product
They rate their stuff from watertight to waterproof and submersible.

Good review Matt. I had seen this in the catalog and it immediately grabbed my attention. Seems it would be a good rainy day gear bag, and the fact it floats is a good thing. I may pick one up as a pack for expecting bad weather days. Would be a good place to hold a light rain jacket and some lunch, etc.

Matt, I wonder if you were to pull it underwater by the straps, rather than pushing it down (forcing out the air), if that wouldn't be a more reasonable test. I'd be really impressed if ANY bag with a zipper could pass that "squash test".

Oh, and you'd better get the shit tickets out of the tub before you pull the drain :)
