The problem, logistically speaking of course, was the damn trout parks. We needed to be able to ensure that we would hit them on a Friday / Saturday / Sunday in order to fish them. We had talked about taking the route you suggested, but because we were finishing the trip on Monday and needed to ensure that we could finish up a stream or two on Monday if we needed to (which meant that we would need to finish on non-trout park streams...just in case. To be honest, that would have been the best route for us to take (considering that Monday we simply went back to the Current) but at the time we didn't know if we would need Monday or not for something else. It was alot of road time for sure. We had kind of mentally decided that if we were going to fish the trout parks, we would like to document the most unappealing places to fish them in (e.g. "The Ditch" and "The Dump") but it is what it is.

The torn waders obviously sucked, thank god I threw in a spare pair of waders I had (even though I hadn't ever taken them out of the box until it was time to put them on). The bad fajitas those....that shit is just hard to mess up.

Dam, Matt and Brian, day 2 sorta sucked, didn't it? Torn waders, dinks, and fishin in a ditch, and then bad fajitas to end the day?

I question the logistical decision to drive from the Current to quite a ways south to hit the Barren, and then from there to backtrack quite a ways north to hit the Rube. ?? Quite a bit of windshield time methinks. If you're heading south to the Barren, thats on the way to the 11 pt, then swing up and hit the North Fork. I don't know. Would have to look at a map and the mull it over.
